Creating the design to improve movement, Vaughn has made the arms and floaters adjustable while the strapping system gives you the ability to customize the fit with ease.
A more segmented construction in the body area provides full wrap coverage while keeping you safe and mobile.
STERNUM/CHEST
Using mainly high density foams for protection, the V9 Pro offers elite goalies a great deal of security while not limiting mobility due to the segmented foam design. The protection in the upper body area continues as it wraps the ribs for a fuller amount of coverage.
SHOULDERS
A more segmented design, the V9 Pro offers more mobility than previous versions. The segmented high density foam shoulder floaters offer elite protection but remain articulating so that movement is less restricted.
The protection in the shoulders continues as the foams wrap around near the armpit area for security against those sneaky shots, especially when you are covering the 6 and 7 holes.
The caps are articulating for freer range of motion while having a lightweight plastic based cap covered with HD foam for ample protection.
SPINE/BACK
The spine area sees more high density foams while the strapping system is meant to give you a more secure feel while not feeling as though the back plate is riding into you pants or neck area.
ELBOW FLOATERS
A hinged design provides more arm movement while still protecting that key area. Using high density foam wrapped floaters ensure you are getting elite level protection.
ARMS
Hard plastic based arm wraps along with high density foams gives you a great level of safety in the arms/biceps/forearms.
STRAPPING SYSTEM
Full Velcro based closures along with adjustable arms and floaters makes the V9 Pro chest protector more versatile than previous versions. Adjust the floaters and arms for a more custom type fit.
INTERIOR LINER
A mesh based liner provides a good level of moisture wicking as it helps keep you dry and repels moisture.
