Hockey starter kits are reserved for the youth hockey player, generally from ages 4 to 8. Most starter kits come equipped with shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin guards and hockey pants. Some kits will come with a hockey bag. All kits will not come with skates or a helmet as these should be professionally fitted.
