LINER
The Bauer AirFlow liner sees impact dispersal with the use of both Poron XRD & IX Foam that are able to better dampen impacts and disperse shock through the foams. This gives you less direct feel of impacts while maintaining a secure feeling on your head.
SHELL
Better than the traditional epoxy based material, Bauer has introduced their Smacwrap Composite shell that is able to better disperse impacts and maintain its shape.
BACK PLATE
A Thermo-Comp skull plate possesses a molded occipital support for the base of your skull that gives you a snug feel but does not impede mobility or pinch off the base of you head and neck area.
CAGE
With enriched vision in mind, Bauer has used a certified wire cage that optimizes on-ice vision by maximizing bar spacing and cutting the cage closer to your face without giving up safety.
CHIN CUP
An elite chin cup gives you a softer feel while securing your chin firmly in the mask. With a stretch elastic strap, the chin cup can be adjusted to your liking.
HARNESS STRAPPING SYSTEM
Bauer uses a 5 point harness that can be incrementally adjusted throughout the entire perimeter of the backplate, which provides you with the ability of a more custom fit.
SWEATBAND
A phenomenal Thermocore sweatband increase moisture management by helping wick sweat away from your forehead, helping keep it out of your eyes while in use.
