An ideal set of pads for the up and coming goalie, the  Bauer GSX Prodigy Youth Goalie Pads are light, adjustable, comfortable at a reasonably price.

FLEX CONSTRUCTION & CORE

A softer flex core for your young goalie lets them move and learn the position easier with more comfort.

EXTERIOR MATERIALS

Synthetic leather.

LEG CHANNEL

A nylon liner was built for comfort, durability and ease of leg rotation into the butterfly. A deeper leg channel allow the goalie’s legs to sit in a more locked in position but still allows for leg rotation into the butterfly.

The calf wrap is designed for added security as it wraps the leg and prevents those errant impacts.

BOOT BREAK

The softer boot break lets your young goalie flex and move without the pads feeling as though they are restrictive.

TOE

A stretch toe attachment is easier to attach to the skates and lets the goalie move freer with less restriction when learning the butterfly.

STRAPPING SYSTEM

Bauer has nailed it with their 1-2-3 parent friendly strap system that lets any novice goalie parent or coach to strap the pads onto the young goalie’s legs with ease.

KNEE CRADLE & STABILIZER

An adjustable knee cradle will allow for some growth and a more customized fit.
